Model selection

Whenext selects its default forecasting model based on public, independent forecasting benchmarks, primarily ForecastBench.

The default model is always the highest-ranked AI model that is publicly available for real-world use, ensuring strong predictive performance while remaining accessible and reproducible.

Deep mode is available exclusively to Pro users. It allows questions to be analyzed with extended reasoning and higher compute, and results can be requested privately, without being shared publicly on the platform.
